The two Visitor Interpretive Centers in the Adirondacks Region offer a myriad of weekend activities year-round so that your family can jump right into the fun and learn more about this beautiful area. Throughout this mountainous region, there is kayaking, canoeing and whitewater rafting. Try snowshoeing, skiing, hiking, horseback riding, bicycling or rock climbing, too. You can drive up a mountain then take an elevator to the top, try a gondola ride or enjoy 18 holes of golf and some shopping.
